About biotech ink 
Dr. Susan Caldwell founded Biotech Ink in January 2005. Susan has worked in research, development, manufacturing, and medical writing for biotechnology firms since 1987. Her biomedical background includes a PhD in medical microbiology and immunology, and postdoctoral training in human infectious diseases. In 1995, she moved from preclinical research into clinical research and regulatory writing. Since then, she has directed medical writing departments for four biotechnology companies and at Biotech Ink.
 Susan has built a network of over 300 contract writers, editors, publishers, and proofreaders. Among them are physicians, research scientists, medical device engineers, biostatisticians, medical monitors, regulatory affairs professionals, and data management experts. In addition to providing writing services herself, Susan often assembles and supervises a project team from this pool to tackle large medical writing projects, such as eCTDs.
